Anthony Elmore Barksdale

Anthony "Tony" Elmore Barksdale, of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Thursday, November 6th, 2025, at the age of 53. He is survived by his devoted mother, Alease "Sue" Susan Carter; adored sister, Alease Kelly Carter; loving partner, Beth Perlman; and cherished nephew, Tyon Lamont Carter. Tony was predeceased by his dear brother, Donald Otis Barksdale, Jr.; treasured grandma and grandpa, Alease Mittie and Delhi Thweatt; and father, Donald Otis Barksdale, Sr.

Services at New Shiloh Baptist Church, 2100 North Monroe Street, Harold A. Carter Way, Baltimore, MD 21217 on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 10:00 am. Interment at Arbutus Memorial Park. Public visitation will be held at Sol Levinson Funeral Home, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208 on Monday, November 10 and Tuesday, November 11 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm. The family will be in mourning at the home of Nancie Leibowitz, 3431 Phillips Drive, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Thursday, November 13 from 2:00-8:00 pm, with services at 6:30 pm. Flowers are welcome.
