Eileen Passante

Eileen M. Passante was born on May 22, 1935 and lived a long and happy life. She died peacefully on June 25, 2025. Eileen devoted her life to taking care of her family, was a devout Catholic parishioner and worked in library administration, both at the New York Public Library as well as on the college level. Eileen adored her grandchildren and her pets, and enjoyed reading, traveling, and interior decorating.

Eileen is survived by her children, Edward C. Passante, Jr. (Ted), [Pets: Marty, Darwin], Patricia Landry (Trish), [Husband Wayne, Grandchildren: Jennifer, Katherine, Kyle, Pet: Charlie], and Mark Passante [Wife Mary Grace, Grandchildren: Matthew, Gabby, Grace, Jonathon, Pets: Amelia, Gus].

Eileen is preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Passante, Sr., her parents, Julia Marie and Herbert C. Cleary, and her brother, Herbert C. Cleary, Jr.
