Erwin Villanueva Magnaye, of Severn, Maryland and originally of the Philippines, passed away after a courageous battle with ALS, on Sunday, July 12th, 2026, at the age of 50. He is survived by his devoted siblings, Salome (late Ricardo) Griarte, Rafael (Carol) Magnaye, Ramon (Rowena) Magnaye, Jr., Rowena (Paul) Christensen, Felisa Magnaye, Cris (Mischel) Magnaye, and Lourdes (Peter) Lareza; and many more loving nieces, nephews, family, friends, and colleagues. Erwin was predeceased by his dear parents, Narcisa and Ramon Javier Magnaye; and cherished brothers, Ronald Magnaye and Federico Magnaye.

Erwin Magnaye was a faithful servant of God, a devoted educator, and a loving son, brother, uncle, friend, and colleague. Throughout his courageous battle with ALS, he demonstrated remarkable strength, unwavering faith, and resilience, inspiring all who knew him. His kindness, generosity, humor, and joyful spirit brought laughter and warmth to everyone around him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing him, and his memory will forever remain in our hearts.
